Why Eat 100% Grass Fed Beef?

The way cows are fed has an effect on the nutrition value of the beef we get from them. It is important to know and understand the differences between grain-fed and grass-finished cows. Cows that are grain-fed are from feedlots that feed the herds grain so that they fatten up faster. Those grains are usually a corn or soy based grain. They are also given drugs or hormones that speed up their growth process as well.  Grass-finished cows are those that life their entire life in pastures, allowed to graze and eat as they want.
